ARS has earned a national reputation for fine work on Sig-Sauer P-series handguns. From simple refinishing, to the basic and advanced "tactical package" ARS has the degree of customizing to match your need.

From the earliest P226 and P220 with stamped and welded slides to the Sig Pro and P245, Sig has continuously improved their products. Many of the enhancements that ARS used to provide are now included, such as smooth trigger faces and rounding of sharp angles. Switching to stainless steel has greatly improved the corrosion resistance as well. Still, the factory pistol can be improved.

Basic Tactical Package.

The Basic Tactical Package includes careful deburring and polishing of all trigger and action componants, rounding the face of serrated triggers (or further rounding the new smooth-faced triggers), changing the double action sear angles for a smoother double action pull with greatly reduced "stacking" (that increase in pull weight that kicks in about two thirds of the way through the trigger travel), supplying a 20-25% lighter hammer spring, polishing the throat and ramp, cutting a target crown on the barrel, polishing the extractor and breech face, and refinishing selected internal componants with the self-lubricating METACOL III Satin Black protective coating. Advanced Tactical Package.

Advance Tactical Package includes all of the steps in the Basic Tactical Package, with the addition of complete rounding of all sharp edges on the frame and slide (called "dehorning" or "carry bevel") and refinishing the entire gun in METACOL III Satin Black. Price is $200 and includes 2 magazines. Additional magazines + $10 each. UPS Next Day Air return shipping, handling, and insurance to $1000 is + $35. Add Trijicon 3-dot night sights for + $125.
